PUTTING WATER IN THE POT AS COMMANDED
PUTTING WATER IN THE POT AS COMMANDED BY JESUS WILL ALWAYS BRING THE WINE YOU & I DESIRE.
Your Obedience and my obedience to always putting 'WATER' in the pot as instructed by Jesus in John Chapter Two Verse Seven (John 2:7), will always bring the 'WINE' that You and I Desire. Why? As narrated in John Chapter Two (John 2), the marriage in Cana of Galilee, where Mary, Jesus, and His Disciples were invited and the Hosts ran out of wine, Mary, the Mother of Jesus interceded, saying to Jesus..." They have no wine"...knowing fully well what Jesus is Capable of doing. Yet, Jesus said, "Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come...( John2:4). But what did Mary do? She told the caterers at the wedding- "See, whatever He tells you to do, Just do it!" ( John 2:5) Paraphrased. Then Jesus asked them to fill the water pots with water, and they filled it to the brim* Well, the caterers could have said, "Didn't this man hear that it is wine we are looking for, how come He is asking us to fill the pots with water? Yet, they refused to rationalize the instruction Jesus gave them. They only obeyed and what happened next? This water-made-wine was drawn out to be given to the governor of the feast and the governor confirmed the 'water' to have tasted really good as the best wine ever reserved for them at the feast. BONE OF CONTENTION 1. WHY DID MARY INTERCED FOR THE HOSTS WHOSE FEAST THEY WERE IN ATTENDANCE? Ans- To save them from an open shame of not being able to cater for their invitees. 2. WHY DID THE CATERES NOT RATIONALIZE WITH JESUS WHEN HE ASKED THEM TO FILL THE POTS WITH WATER WHEN THEY ACTUALLY NEEDED WINE? Ans- Because they needed the Wine Badly or Urgently 3. WHAT MADE THE WINE AVAILABLE? Ans- The Careers' Obedience To Jesus' Instruction To Filling The Pots With Water, Even Though They Were Looking For Wine. SUMMARY 'Wine' in the above context, connotes whatever good thing that You and I desire in Life, and 'Water' on the other side, Connotes What God Wants Us To Do Through Jesus So We Can See The 'Wine' That We Are Looking For. Thus, if there be any 'Wine' that you desire of Jesus in order not to be ashamed openly in your endeavours, then you must be ready to always putting the 'Water' in the pot as Jesus commanded the caterers in John 2:7. Until you put the ' Water ' in the pot, your 'Wine' is not in view- which means, shame is inevitable. In the same vein, until You and I Obey the instructions of God through Jesus by doing whatsoever He asks us to do ( No Matter How Foolish It May Look), Our desires is not in view. Nevertheless, there are so many pots in the scriptures that are yet to be filled with 'water' for our wine to be made available...For Instances...Just to mention a few in the scriptures... POT 1 Proverbs 28:27 (KJV) Says..."He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse" POT 2 Proverbs 28:13 (KJV) Says... He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. POT 3 Exodus 23:22 (KJV) Says...But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. POT 4 Deuteronomy 28:1-8 (KJV) Says... And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. POT 5 Matthew 6:25-26, 31-33 (KJV) , Jesus says, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. POT 6 Joshua 1:8 (KJV) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. POT 7 Deuteronomy 29:9 (KJV) Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do. POT 8 Joshua 1:8 (KJV) This book of the law (The Bible) shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Thus, if only you will care to obey Jesus' commands according to scriptures, you'll have more than enough wine to enjoy! Jesus Is Lord!!!
